When world-famous tenor Tito Morelli (Il Stupendo) arrives for a fundraiser at the Cleveland Grand Opera Company, a chain-reaction of mistaken identity, plot twists and double entendres creates one of the funniest farces of the American stage.

Apollo 13 Mission Control in Winston-Salem

Prepare for blast off! The East Coast debut of “Apollo 13: Mission Control” will take place in Winston-Salem on January 26 and continue through February 10. Become part of the live interactive story as three American astronauts trapped 200,000 miles from Earth fight for their lives and audience members seated in “Mission Control” must make the critical decisions necessary to bring them home.

UNCSA Wind Ensemble

Faculty artist Taimur Sullivan joins the UNCSA Wind Ensemble in a concerto for saxophone and wind ensemble. James Barnes’ profoundly moving Symphony No. 3, a very personal response to the mysteries of death and life, completes the program. Dr. Michael Dodds conducts.
